The Dual Language Spanish Transition to Kindergarten Teacher provides learning opportunities and instruction to students inpreschool who are participating in the Dual Language Program to provide the opportunity for students to attain bilingualism and biliteracy.

Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and highly qualified Dual Language
Spanish
Early Childhood Teacher to support preschool-aged children in their transition to kindergarten within a diverse, inclusive school environment. The ideal candidate will provide developmentally appropriate, culturally responsive instruction that promotes school readiness, language development, and social-emotional growth in both Spanish and English.
The Dual Language Spanish Early Childhood Teacher will collaborate with other educators to deliver an integrated, play-based curriculum grounded in early childhood education principles. This role supports the district’s commitment to equity and excellence, eliminating barriers to student success, and fostering bilingualism and biliteracy from the earliest years of learning.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences in Spanish that align with early learning standards and support kindergarten readiness.
Foster bilingualism, biliteracy, and socio-emotional growth through integrated instruction and play-based learning.
Conduct observations and formative assessments to monitor developmental progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds of students and their families.
