Akkodis is seeking a Vehicle Calibration Engineer for an automotive/diesel company located in Mount Vernon, WA. In this position, you will be responsible for the calibration, integration, and verification of vehicle level features/functionality such as cruise control, speed limiters, warnings and telltales, etc. across the entire vehicle lineup from ICE to BEV powertrains.
Pay Range: $55-$75/HR. Contract position! 1st shift
Responsibilities- Actively participates in the calibration, verification, release, and implementation of software
- Uses engineering principles and experience to integrate, calibrate, and optimize vehicle performance functionality via in-vehicle testing of vehicle control system software
- Develops and executes test plans for requirements verification and reports any discovered defects
- Provides support to the running business group in the calibration, verification, and release of running change software releases
- Provides relevant input to the development, communication, and management of vehicle calibration plans, including timing, quality, and budget
- Translates customer requirements into software calibration data and configurations for the organization
- Collaborates with and provides support to the Control, Software, and Validation Teams with testing, root cause analysis, and defect resolution
