Position: Slot Technician | FT | $20/hr starting
Location: Mt Vernon

. If you enjoy troubleshooting, working with electronics, and keeping things running smoothly, this is your chance to hit the jackpot in your career!

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all detail cleaning of slot machines and related components.
  • Assist with the installation and relocation of slot machines.
  • Repair and perform preventive maintenance on slot machines, slot accounting/player tracking equipment, progressive controllers and displays, bill validators and coin acceptors, with an effort to maintain "zero down time" on the floor.
  • Troubleshoot and repair all mechanical and electromechanical components of slot machines, slo accounting/player tracking, progressive controllers and displays such as coin hoppers, bill stackers and slot cabinet components.
  • Troubleshoot and repair all electronic slot machine assemblies, slot accounting/player tracking system, assemblies, progressive controller and display assemblies to the component level.
  • Install new and move existing slot machines, slot accounting/player tracking system, progressive controllers and displays and bill validators in a timely manner;
    Convert slot machines from one type and denomination to another.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma/ GED and two years' experience with mechanical and electromechanical systems required or an appropriate combination of education or experience.
  • Two years electronic degree preferred.
  • Proven excellent people skills and the ability to effectively deal with difficult guest situations.
  • Soldering skills are required.
  • Must be able to read schematics and wiring diagrams and identify electronic components.
  • Must be able to read oscilloscopes and digital multi-meters.
  • Knowledge network experience extremely helpful.
  • Must be computer literate including basic understanding of and experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, as well as other databases or computer applications.
