Responsibilities

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health opened its doors this April as the first new full‑service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 25 years. Integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers, the George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8, this enhanced integrated delivery system will establish a robust network of care for all District residents, and especially for residents of Wards 7 and 8.

Our advanced hospital offers 136 beds (expandable to 184), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, onsite 550‑car parking garage, and a helipad for emergency transport.

We are seeking an Ultrasound Technologist (Part‑Time). As a Sonographer you will provide clinical services according to ultrasound practice standards and act as a resource to students, residents, fellows, and other technologists to ensure optimal department functions. Your duties include administering sound patient care practices, completing ancillary tasks for efficient operations, maintaining equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition, and demonstrating safety for patients, staff and self as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines.
