Position Summary

Full‑time Receptionist at Mount Vernon Medical and Dental Clinic. The incumbent will process patient information, schedule medical appointments, and communicate with patients via phone, email, or in‑person to confirm appointments, take messages, and address inquiries. The role requires strong problem‑solving skills, effective communication, high work ethic, professionalism, and the ability to multitask using basic office software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process patient information and maintain accurate records.
  • Schedule medical appointments and coordinate patient visits.
  • Communicate with patients via phone, email, or in‑person to confirm appointments, take messages, and address inquiries.
  • Handle multiple tasks concurrently using basic office software (Windows, Word, Excel).
  • Maintain a high level of work ethic, professionalism, and sensitivity to patient needs.
Education and Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a medical setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred).
  • Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and typing.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred).
