The City of Mount Vernon Fire Department is seeking a professional to perform firefighting, rescue, EMS, and hazmat duties with advanced life support capabilities. You will respond to emergencies, drive fire apparatus, and participate in public education and prevention activities.
Requirements include a Washington Paramedic Certification, CPAT by Aug 31, 2026, and the ability to obtain Firefighter II upon completion of the academy. A valid driver’s license and clean background are necessary.
