Modernization Systems Developer

TS/SCI with Polygraph Required Salary Range: $127,000 - $151,800 per year

In this role, you'll work in an agile environment and embrace Dev Sec Ops  practices to deliver high-impact solutions aligned with Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) standards. THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD.

• Support the refactoring and re-engineering of legacy codebases into modular, cloud-native applications
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver secure, high-performing applications
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives
• Integrate applications into CI/CD pipelines and follow secure coding best practices
• Produce technical documentation for designs, APIs, and development workflows

• Current Top Secret security clearance with Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing software applications
• Proficiency in modern software development frameworks and languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience working in Agile/Dev Sec Ops  environments

• Experience modernizing DoD or IC systems
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design
• Familiarity with tools like Git Lab, Jenkins, JIRA, and Confluence
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Developer Associate or Azure Developer Associate
