Job Description:

This full-time position requires a hands-on SharePoint developer with experience across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem who can lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of SharePoint-based solutions that meet the unique needs of various federal agencies. This role requires a deep understanding of SharePoint and Power BI dashboard development, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and effective solutions.

Qualified applicants must possess an Active Secret clearance.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success leveraging agile development best practices to design, develop and deliver custom data analytics solutions to NAVSEA/DoD customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and customize SharePoint solutions that align with federal government requirements and security standards.
  • Integrate Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Dataverse) with SharePoint Online, ensuring seamless data flow and user experience.
  • Build intuitive, engaging, and interactive Power BI dashboards and paginated reports.
  • Design data models, write DAX queries, and implement Power Query transformations and dataflows in Power BI.
  • Connect dashboards and SharePoint solutions to diverse data sources (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, Dataverse, REST APIs, Excel).
  • Collaborate with NAVSEA stakeholders to gather and analyze project requirements, define technical specifications, design wireframes, build prototypes, and implement solutions.
  • Perform access control, auditing, and permissions management across SharePoint, Teams sites, and Power BI work spaces.
  • Support system architecture definition, custom code specification, and data migration planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support secure, functional, and intuitive applications.

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of total, relevant professional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools:
    SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • 5-8 years of related SharePoint website development, design, reporting, and administration skills.
  • Experience with Power BI data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and dataflows.
  • Experience with ASP.NET for server-side logic.
  • Ability to define and integrate user requirements into effective digital solutions.
  • Experience with at least one RDBMS, including SQL query writing, such as SQL Server, Oracle, or Postgre

    SQL.
  • Familiarity with Git for source control and team-based development workflows.
