Summary:

We have an immediate need for a MRO Buyer to support material ordering, processing of purchase orders and providing support to our suppliers and end users.

Job Functions / Responsibilities:
Prepare and issue purchase orders for MRO products and services. Route and distribute purchase orders for approval according to authority matrices. Manage supplier relationships, including cost, quality, delivery, and service requirements. Source suppliers, obtain quotations and bids, and make purchasing decisions. Identify opportunities to consolidate and streamline purchasing activities. Develop and implement cost-reduction and supply chain improvement strategies. Support Commodity Managers regarding commercial and contractual requirements.

Maintain supplier databases and communications. Issue change orders related to price, specifications, and quantities. Coordinate MRO activities with Administrative, Sales/Marketing, Engineering, and other departments. Monitor product quality and quantity and implement corrective actions when needed. Resolve invoice discrepancies with Accounting and requestors. Use Business Intelligence tools for MRO analysis and reporting. Complete special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of purchasing, billing, financial management, engineering, operations, or related business experience. Experience with production or MRO purchasing, manufacturing, and/or supply chain management. Strong negotiation and analytical skills. Creative, quality-focused, and results-driven. Self-motivated team player capable of working with limited supervision. Demonstrated leadership ability. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to develop Return on Investment (ROI) analyses.

Education Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
