Viridian Staffing's () Client is looking for Temporary, Experienced Cannabis Trimmers to help with on-site post-harvests three days every month in the Mount Vernon, Washington, area.
Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing is the Original staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting firm solely dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis / hemp industry.
Your duties will be mostly trimming, but could include pruning, defanning leaves, cutdown, breakdown of individual stalks, processing, cleaning, disposal of post-harvest waste, weighing of cannabis, deep cleaning of machinery, and even refilling facility with new plants. Experience trimming Cannabis is required.
You bring with you the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. You are known for your effective time-management skills, ability to multi-task, and are always able to arrive on time and willing to give 100%. You also have the ability to sit, stand, kneel, twist and lift plants and equipment up to 25 pounds for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit, climb, twist, and kneel up to 8 hours/day
- Cannabis trimming experience
- Ability to perform repetitive movements with your hands, while holding scissors
- Ability to work in climates with varying temperatures
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to take direction
- Ability to lift and carry at least 25 pounds
- Proven work ethic and reliable transportation
- Ability to arrive on time
- Ability to work for a licensed cannabis operation in the State of Washington, which includes being at least 21 years of age
