Position: Process Automation Technician (Night Shift)

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Process Automation Technician for a night shift position at an electronics manufacturer. The role focuses on maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting automated systems and equipment to support production goals and maintain safety compliance.

Responsibilities

Perform periodic checks of machine process parameters and recipes to ensure optimal performance and quality.

Troubleshoot nonstandard events on the production line, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventative measures.

Lead the Apollo process to resolve complex nonstandard problems, exercising informed judgment and showing initiative.

Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency, quality, and safety of the production line.

Ensure all automated systems and equipment are in compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Assist in the development and implementation of new automation processes and improvements.

Provide training and guidance to other team members on automation systems and equipment.

Qualifications

AA Degree or higher in a relevant field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.

Proficient knowledge in PLC, HMI, electro‑pneumatic, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical wiring, vision system, VFDs, and chemical processes.

Strong understanding of OCAPs.

Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving nonstandard events on the production line.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions quickly.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to lead processes and guide team members.

Ability to work night shifts and adapt to changing work schedules.

Compensation

Salary: $30 - $40 per hour.
