Rate Range: $35/hour to $43/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Diesel Technician Job Responsibilities include:
- Perform routine service, oil changes, and inspections on heavy construction vehicles used for testing.
- Prepare, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty diesel engines and vehicles.
- Install and maintain data measurement and test equipment on engines and vehicles.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure vehicles perform as required during testing.
- Maintain accurate documentation, cleanliness, and organization of work areas.
- Perform all tasks safely, efficiently, and independently while adapting to changing project demands.
- Associate degree in Diesel Power Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, or related field; certificate of completion or relevant military training acceptable.
- Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience with heavy wheeled/construction vehicles (or 2 years including schooling).
- Proven experience working on heavy-duty vehicles larger than Humvees, with strong diesel and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently in a test or engineering environment, with strong attention to detail, documentation practices, and safety awareness.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $43.00 per hour
