Position: Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for a state‑of‑the‑art electronics manufacturer. This is a permanent full‑time night‑shift role. Salary $32–$40/hr.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to detect malfunctions.

Perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.

Diagnose problems and perform necessary repairs to equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.

Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Operate a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history.

Troubleshoot PLC systems and make necessary adjustments or repairs.

Assist in training lower‑level technicians and operators as needed.

Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance team performance and product quality.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Basic knowledge of single and three‑phase electrical systems.
Deep understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency with various tools, including lathe and mill.
Familiarity with HVAC systems.
Experience with CMMS.
Knowledge of PLC systems.
Understanding of machine maintenance tech and pneumatics.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational school, BSc/BA in business administration or facility management is an advantage.
Valid CMRP certification is desired.
