HVAC Service Technician

We are Mac Donald-Miller Facility Solutions (“Mac Miller”), a leading mechanical contracting firm in the Northwest providing HVAC, plumbing, and automation system solutions for commercial buildings.

We are looking for a Service Technician to perform regular maintenance, filter changes, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial package gas and electric systems, heat pumps, air conditioners, hydronic systems, and related components. You will work toward aggressive service goals and help our customers maintain optimal building performance.

• Perform routine maintenance and filter changes on commercial HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems on HVAC, plumbing, and automation systems.
• Ensure customer safety and comfort through proactive inspections and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate work logs and provide detailed communication to customers and the service team.

• A ‘no‑problem’ service mindset – take initiative, solve issues, and get the job done.

• A track record of delivering thorough, quality service in the commercial HVAC industry.
• Expertise in leveraging resources to tackle complex repairs.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record; all applicable trade licenses are required.

• Someone with a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Having an incredibly strong work ethic.
• Very adaptable with tons of initiative.

• Learning new skills independently – we don’t do micro‑management.

$25 – $70 per hour paid in accordance with the union wage scale. Benefits are administered by the Union; please refer to the full list for more information.
