Journeyman Field Technician​/Mechanic

Papé Machinery, a distinguished leader in John Deere equipment sales, service, and parts, is seeking a skilled Journeyman Field Technician / Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll deploy your expertise in mechanical repairs and maintenance for a wide range of modern agriculture and turf machinery at various customer sites. Your mission will be crucial in ensuring the operational efficacy of sophisticated agricultural equipment through high-quality technical service and support, reflecting Papé Machinery's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on a variety of John Deere machinery and attachments.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide on-site customer support and post-service feedback.
• Complete detailed service reports and documentation for each job.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment that adheres to safety standards.
• Participate in continuous training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest industry technologies and practices.

Required Skills

• Advanced knowledge of agricultural equipment and machinery, particularly John Deere models.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, especially in hydraulic and electrical systems.
