Coaching

Maret School seeks to fill various coaching openings for spring of 2026. Specific details for each opening are listed beneath the application instructions.

In addition to coaching, additional responsibilities may include writing end-of-season comments and transporting students to athletic events. Assistant coaches are supervised by head coaches and the Director of Athletics. All head coaches are supervised by the Director of Athletics. Candidates must have a demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion in their work.

Compensation is determined based on the specific roles and responsibilities associated with each sport and season. All applications are reviewed individually to ensure that the salary offered aligns appropriately with the scope of the position. The ranges listed include both head coaching and assistant coaching roles.

Maret seeks an assistant coach for Varsity Girls Lacrosse for the spring season, which runs from mid February through late May 2026. Youth, high school, or club-level coaching experience is a plus. Practices and game times vary but are generally scheduled between 3:30 and 5:45 p.m., Monday– Friday. Coaches are asked to report to practices/games 30 minutes in advance of practice, games, and team departure.

The candidate should be able to run effective practices, manage daily logistics, have sound tactical knowledge of the game, and embrace the inclusive culture of Maret.

Maret seeks an assistant coach for Varsity Boys Tennis for the spring season, which runs from mid February through late May 2026. Youth, high school, or club-level coaching experience is a plus. Practices and game times vary but are generally scheduled between 3:30 and 5:45 p.m., Monday– Friday. Coaches are asked to report to practices/games 30 minutes in advance of practice, games, and team departure.

Coaches are asked to report to practices/games 30 minutes in advance of practice, games, and team departure.

The candidate should be able to run effective practices, manage daily logistics, have sound tactical knowledge of the game, and embrace the inclusive culture of Maret.
