Class A or B CDL Operator – HPC Industrial

HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Class A or B CDL Operator to join our safety-conscious team. The CDL Operator is responsible for the safe and proper execution of HPC Industrial jobs across all service lines. This role involves supervising and completing single-task jobs with one crew, and performing turnarounds under management oversight at client sites in accordance with client and business requirements and company policies, practices, and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer, including hands‑on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response and administrative functions.
  • Operate vacuum and hydroblasting equipment, ultra high‑pressure pumps, pumping equipment, vacuum trucks, cutting equipment and other specialized hydroblasting and chemical cleaning equipment.
  • Examine surfaces cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance on company equipment used on the job.
  • Operate liquid vacs, air machines and jet rodders.
  • May lead a crew of vacuum technicians.
  • Transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations.
  • Complete pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, driver’s logs and comply with all other vehicle policies and DOT requirements.
  • Load and unload hoses, unload vacuum trucks at the dump site, and provide general field maintenance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on‑the‑job training and essential experience gained on other jobs.
  • Language proficiency: understand English to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations.
  • Valid driver’s license, CDL Class A or B and compliance with company driving policy.
  • Smartphone required for Electronic Logging Device.
  • Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be required.
  • Knowledgeable in operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.
  • Experience operating a vacuum truck.
  • Working knowledge of equipment used in wet and dry vacuums.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. and up.

High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

Class A or B CDL License required.

Tanker Endorsement required.

TWIC required.

Hydroblasting experience preferred.
