Perdue Farms - - Responsibilities:
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer and complete DOT inspection forms at end of each trip;
Drive to and from farms, completing 1 to 4 trips day and night with a driving range of 30 minutes to 4 hours without a stop;
Cover load during winter and assist with covering load when temperature is below 30 degrees;
Cross scale with tractor and trailer before going to farms and return, fill trucks with fuel before scaling the full load;
Secure empty modulars before leaving plant and ensure full modulars are secured before returning
