Required Qualifications- 7-10 years of material handling systems installation experience
- 5-7 years of experience leading small installation teams
- HS Diploma
- Proficient at reading & comprehending mechanical construction drawings
- Self‑Motivated, Detail Oriented, & Results Focused
- OSHA 30 Certified
- Experience with managing subcontractors
- Embrace, enforce, & live a superior safety culture
- Conduct weekly toolbox talks with installation resources on site
- Complete Job‑Hazard‑Analyses daily
- Lead small team of 3‑5 mechanical installers & laborers to self‑execute mechanical scopes of work on FORTNA projects
- Be able, willing, & competent to conduct installations when necessary, including field fabrications, welding and other hot‑work, rigging, conveyor assembly & erection, and other installation tasks
- Receive, unload, inventory, and QC project componentry & materials supplied by the project team
- Provide regular progress reports to leadership and project team
- Adhere to all federal, local, and customer regulations, standards, & specifications
- Manage subcontractors from both electrical & mechanical scopes of work for FORTNA projects that are opted to outsource install
