The Role

Responsible for the reliability and operational readiness of the AEM CS Platform, improving monitoring systems, driving incident analysis, and automating operational tasks.

The Opportunity

AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Cloud Service makes our customers focus on crafting better customer experiences instead of planning for product updates, since they always have continuous access to the latest experience management innovations to create, handle and deliver personalized experiences to growing audiences. We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to develop & deliver an innovative, high‑quality feature set for the AEM CS Platform.

What

You’ll Do
  • Work in an Agile team to build scalable services
  • Help engineer our platform strategy
  • Translate business requirements into architectural and implementation choices
  • Capture loosely defined requirements or concepts and expand them into complete solutions together with your team
  • Review and provide feedback on features, technology, architecture, and designs
  • Define and implement Dev Ops components to operate the platform
  • Lead with a focus on customer engagement and bridge the gap between internal infrastructure operations and the end‑user experience
  • Own the reliability, performance, and operational readiness of the storage components
  • Leverage AI tools to automate repetitive operational work
What You Need to Succeed
  • BS in Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years of experience as a Software Developer
  • Experience with building RESTful APIs
  • Experience building services using Java or alternatively Python, JavaScript, or Go
  • Experience deploying and operating large‑scale, highly available SaaS applications and cloud services; familiarity with Kubernetes, Jenkins, Splunk, New Relic, Grafana, telemetry/observability
  • Strong working knowledge of modern software development methodologies and software design patterns & best practices (unit testing, build automation, continuous integration)
  • Ability to de‑break sophisticated problems into generalizable sub‑problems and develop clean abstractions
  • Ability to give comprehensive and effective code reviews
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience understanding and maintaining large code bases, including API design techniques for maintainability
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies
  • Contributions to open‑source projects and community involvement is a plus

Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $139,000 – $257,550 annually. Pay varies by work location…
