It all started with one big dream, two crazy cousins, and the perfect combination of flour, sugar, and chocolate chips. After thousands of dollars in wasted dough, recipes that did not live up to their expectations, and cookies that were just plain embarrassing to them today, the cousins decided to try something a little unique, A/B test their way to the perfect cookie.

McGowan, coming from the software world, was accustomed to this methodology of testing. They would take the exact same cookie, change out one ingredient like chocolate chips and randomly visit local gas stations and grocery stores simply asking one question  Which one of these two cookies is the best?  They continued this testing on ingredients and cooking methods until they came up with what they believe is the world's best chocolate chip cookie.

At Crumbl, warm milk chocolate chip and chilled sugar cookies are always on the menu, along with 120+ specialty flavors that rotate weekly! Visit us in-store at any location nationwide for an unique open-kitchen experience where you actually see your Crumbl crew mix, bake, and prepare fresh cookies. Don’t have time to visit the store? The very first Crumbl opened in Logan, UT while Sawyer, Crumbl’s COO and Co-founder, attended Utah State University (go Aggies). Since then, the franchise has expanded to over 75 locations in 11 states, nationwide. Each one, growing our Crumbl family and spreading fast, fresh, & gourmet cookies to Crumblrs everywhere!

We are looking for Shift Leads to staff the first Crumbl Cookies in Vestavia Hills! Each crew member will be trained to  bring families and friends together over the best box of cookies in the world.  Each crew member has a unique role to play in this experience.

• Learn to make the best cookies in the world!
• Greet customers, answer questions, make recommendations, accept orders and payment, and provide exceptional customer service
• Clean and restock the workstations and ensure all equipment is sanitized and prepared for next shift
• Use basic math and computer skills
• Use exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Have the ability to make someone smile!
• No formal education required

• Ensure employees reporting to you meet performance expectations
• Effectively instructing other employees on the shift
• Establish a safe, secure, and healthy work environment
• Meet deadlines
• Maintain excellent customer service at all levels

• Previous leadership experience preferred but not required
• Able to work quickly and efficiently
• Notable communication skills
• An eye for detail and accuracy
• Reliable, with high integrity and strong work ethic
• Team player
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Computer literacy
• Proactive organizational skills
• Ability to keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
• It is vital that the ideal candidate is comfortable leading a shift, making a game-plan, and keeping team members accountable.

Must be 18 years or older to apply
* Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills
* Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products
* Basic math and computer skills
* Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfill orders, and create amazing baked goods
* Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability
* Ability to work in a hot, hectic environment
* Stand, walk, bend, use hands, and appliances, and lift heavy items for extended periods
* Legally eligible to work in the United States
* Excellent communication skills
* Time-management skills
* Ability to lift 50 lbs
* Able to stand for hours at a time
