Job Overview
As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase organizational and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark within local store teams. Responsibilities include optimizing product placement, maintaining inventory levels, supporting seasonal resets and installations, and occasionally working with other companies’ products in the stores you service.
Salary and Schedule- Starting hourly pay: $14.00 to $16.00, based on skills and experience.
- Paid, on‑site and virtual classroom training.
- Part‑time position with a variable schedule; average 8–10 hours per week.
- Availability weeks before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
- Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
- Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
- Part‑time employees have access to voluntary benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.).
- Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory in various retail environments.
- Maintain professional, courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers.
- Provide holiday support during peak demand periods, working additional days or nights as required.
- Assist with installations, relocations, and resets of Hallmark fixtures and card departments, with at least two weeks' advance notice.
- Collaborate with fellow merchandisers for support across territories.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds repeatedly and 50 pounds occasionally, push, pull, kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs, and use ladders throughout the workday.
Basic Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- Read, write, and understand English.
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.
- Operate a digital hand‑held device for documents and information.
- Access to Wi‑Fi and internet.
- Consistent transportation to travel between assigned stores.
