SUMMARY:

# Performs a variety of complex administrative functions for Nursing Administration including internal and external business partners. Manages schedules, payroll, coordinates travel arrangements, processes business expenses, and coordinates meetings and events. Manages procurement of goods and services including computer equipment, office supplies, reference materials, and vendor relationships. Provides general office support. Serves as the department/group contact. Completes special projects as assigned.

Required to work with the Nursing Directors regularly to carryout, initiate and/or implement best practices for the Baxter Health Nursing Administration Department. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Degree in business or relevant field preferred.

Experience:

12 to 18 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification:
Certified Medical Administrative Assistant preferred. Other:
Specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; E.G., clerical/administrative## Primary Source Verification:

Work Environment Office setting, within a hospital environment Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a position in a hospital setting which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Flexible work schedule, 5 days a week, Monday # Friday, 8-hour shifts. May be asked to work longer hours and/or weekends and assignments may change during your shift.
