The Impact You'll Make

Danfoss is looking for a 2nd shift Production Supervisor! The Production Supervisor will lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals. This role is responsible for supervising production employees, managing labor resources, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a safe, high-performing work environment.

Our 2nd shift hours are 2pm - 11pm.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Supervise daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and delivery objectives.
  • Manage labor utilization, production performance, and operating costs.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to reduce scrap, rework, and inefficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and provide training to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Develop, coach, and manage employees through performance management and cross‑training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and enhance customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must meet ITAR U.S. Person requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
Job Criteria
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Effective problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
