SUMMARY:

# The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will evaluate patients preoperatively and develop anesthesia care plan.# The CRNA will directly administer anesthesia and reevaluate patients postoperatively working under the supervision of a Board certified or Board eligible Anesthesiologist. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a nurse anesthesia program accredited by Council on ##Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education Program. Licensure:
Current Arkansas RN and CRNA licenses in good standing or Compact State and current certification through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for# Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).

Experience:

Minimum of one year ICU experience is preferred.

Certifications:

BLS, ACLS, and PALS required. Safety Sensitive Designation:
This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana. Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without an accommodation.# Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.# While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to perform the following physical activities at varying times;

standing, walking, climbing, balancing, squatting, kneeling, crouching, reaching, carrying, pushing, pulling, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, talking, and hearing, exerting in excess of 20-150 pounds of force using proper body mechanics.# Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations of CPR and obtaining equipment. Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.# Has a keen sense of hearing and keen visual acuity to respond to critical changing patient situations from actual observations and/or equipment alarms.#

May be subject to inside environmental conditions, hazards (including electrical currents and exposure to high heat and chemicals) and infectious diseases.

May have to function around prisoners or mental patients. Work Environment:
