Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour (06:30 – 15:00)

Hours per Week: 40

Unit: CVOR / Vascular Surgery (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Patient Age Groups:
Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics

Travel Assignment:
Candidates within 50 miles are not eligible

Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,720 – $2,870 (Travel RN pay)

• Minimum 3 years of CVOR RN / cardiovascular OR nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS; PALS preferred
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) preferred
• Travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Ability to complete required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance
• COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)

• Provide expert perioperative care for cardiovascular and vascular surgery patients
• Assist with advanced procedures including CABG, valve replacements, endovascular repairs, and robotic-assisted surgeries
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including surgeons, anesthesia, and radiology
• Float to Main Hall or adjacent units as needed to support surgical volumes
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and ensure compliance with facility protocols
• Respond to codes and emergencies within the CVOR and contribute to patient safety initiatives
