American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab/EP RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring AR or compact RN licensure, ACLS, BLS, and at least two years of Cath Lab experience.

• Work in the Cath Lab unit performing cardiovascular studies and interventions, as well as Special Procedure studies/interventions
• 4x10 day shifts, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with varying days off
• Call required approximately 9 to 10 days per month
• Cerner charting experience preferred

• Active RN license (AR State or Compact) in hand required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of two years Cath Lab experience required
• ADN required; BSN or MSN preferred
• Skills in ACT monitoring, cardioversion, sheath removal, vascular closure devices, and 12-lead EKG interpretation required
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, IABP placement, PCI, and right/left heart catheterization required

• Provide direct patient care, medication administration, and sterilization techniques within the Cath Lab
• Act as patient advocate while assisting physicians with cardiac and special procedure interventions
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with automatic cancellation for positive results
• Candidates should avoid CBD or other products that could cause a positive drug screen result while on assignment
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• Position is designated safety sensitive under Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana
• Travel experience is highly preferred but not required, and first-time travelers may be considered
