American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Cath Lab position requiring an AR or Compact RN license and a minimum of two years of cath lab experience.

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab performing cardiovascular studies and interventions, as well as special procedure studies
• Day shift schedule with 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM-5:00 PM), with varying days off
• Call required 9 to 10 days per month
• 13-week assignment length

• Active AR or Compact RN license in good standing
• ADN required, BSN or MSN preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of cath lab experience required, 2 years preferred
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Proof of RTO required for consideration
• Nursys verification required for consideration

• Provide direct patient care, administer medications, and follow sterilization techniques within the Cath Lab
• Serve as the patient's advocate while assisting physicians with cardiac and special procedures
• Duties may include assisting with diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, PCI, TAVR, valvuloplasty, and Watchman procedures
• Responsibilities may also include vascular closure, sheath removal, hemostasis, and monitoring procedural sedation
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with a positive result resulting in automatic cancellation
• Candidates should avoid any products, including CBD, that could result in a positive drug screen
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible, as local candidates are not accepted
• All required lab work must be completed within 72 hours of accepting an offer or have a documented plan for timely completion
• Facility-provided training modules must be completed prior to starting patient care, generally within the first day
