Position Summary

Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback. Utilizes Tourto Teach, communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, provides clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicates business objectives to teams effectively.

Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way service model; manages and supports customer service initiatives, including community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL statements, managing budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes, and develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.

Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, and providing associate recognition. Coordinates job-related activities and assignments, develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, supports plans to meet customer and business needs, identifies goals, and builds accountability. Ensures compliance with company policies and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans and supporting the Open Door Policy.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years’ college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience. For facilities that sell firearms, acknowledgment of required firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training. For facilities that sell only ammunition, acknowledgment of required current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility. Associates will attend and complete all job‑required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, with general work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports and responsibility for performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

Salary and Benefits

Annual salary range: $65,000.00 – $. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

  • Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
