The RoleReceiving Team Member – first point of contact for incoming shipments. You’ll check shipments against orders, maintain visible inventory, and route materials to support production.
What You'll Do- Check incoming shipments to ensure orders are filled correctly and meet specifications
- Distribute goods to appropriate locations within the facility
- Monitor inventory levels and alert the purchasing department to potential issues
- Operate a forklift to load and unload goods and materials
- Communicate with team members and delivery drivers to keep work moving
- Maintain 6-S in your area and participate in continuous improvement activities (Kaizen, 5 Whys, team problem solving)
- Attention to detail; you spot discrepancies between shipments, orders, and specs
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with good cross-department communication and with drivers
- Dependable attendance and a safety-first mindset
- Forklift experience is a plus, or we’ll train you in-house
- Ability to stay on your feet and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
