St. Luke's Elmore is a small 25‑bed critical access hospital. The RN will perform basic, low acuity surgical services such as General Surgeries (Laparoscopic Appendectomies, Cholecystectomies, Hernia Repair, Exploratory Laparotomies, Diagnostic Laparoscopies and open wound repairs), OB/GYN Surgeries (Hysterectomies, Tubal Ligations, Salpingectomies, Oophorectomies, Hysteroscopies, Conizations, C Sections), Endoscopy (Colonoscopy, EGD), and very occasional Urology.

What You Can Expect From This Role- Full Time Days with rotating on‑call (must live no more than 30 minutes from the hospital)
- Cross‑training within surgical services (Pre‑Op, Circulate, PACU, Endoscopy)
- Ratio 1:1
- Patient population:
Adolescent to Elderly
- Degree advancement through tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 per calendar year

- Education:
Nursing Degree - Experience:
1 year’s experience (must have surgical experience) - Licenses /
Certifications:
Current RN licensure from the State of Practice;
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
