Travel Nursing – Med Surg RN (Mountain Home, )

TNAA Total Med RN seeks a Medical‑Surgical RN to travel locally to Mountain Home, Idaho. The assignment starts on 07/20/2026 and lasts 13 weeks, with 12‑hour shifts for a total of 36 hours per week.

• Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on immediate conditions.
• Perform ongoing assessments and administer treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Document patient findings and provide education and support to patients’ families.
• Deliver bedside care for pre‑ and postoperative patients.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during examinations and treatments.
• Educate patients about surgical procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plans as prescribed.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• 1–2 years of recent acute‑care experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 2 years.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty; lift 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs when moving patients.
• Capacity to work in a fast‑paced environment with potentially confused, agitated, or uncooperative patients.
