We are searching for a Senior Accountant for one of our top clients in Mountain View, California. The company prides itself on having a positive, collaborative work environment. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $85,000 to $95,000 per year.
Responsibilities:
- Month-end close including general ledger entries and accrual
- Manages and prepares all balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepares monthly P&L and balance sheet variance analysis
- Assists with annual budgeting process
- Manages fixed assets including accounting for acquisitions, disposals and depreciation
- Train, mentor and assign duties to junior staff members
- Ad hoc projects
- Minimum 23 years accounting experience working specifically in general ledger
- Experience with 1 major ERP system, Dynamics is a plus
- Extensive experience with balance sheet reconciliations, balance sheet clean up experience is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills including vlookups and pivot tables
- Positive and collaborative attitude
