Staff Accountant

This is a full-time, on-site Staff Accountant role located in Mountain View, CA. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and managing month-end and year-end close processes. Additional responsibilities include assisting with budgeting, analyzing financial data, supporting audits, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.

This small office has 5 other co workers performing similar functions.

• Proficiency in general accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Knowledge of accounting software, general ledger systems, and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field will be a plus.
• Experience in real estate or property management accounting is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
