We are seeking a detailed-oriented and technically savvy Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. The role is a blend of technical GAAP compliance and hands‑on operational accounting. You will be the point person for our most complex accounting areas, including but not limited to Revenue Recognition (ASC 606), Lease Accounting (ASC 842), and Equity Accounting.
The ideal candidate thrives in Net Suite, loves clean reconciliation, and has the technical skill to ensure our financial statements are always audit‑ready.
Key Responsibilities:- GL & Month‑End Close: Perform high‑level General Ledger reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in complex accruals and prepayments.
- Revenue Recognition (ASC 606): Manage the monthly revenue cycle, ensuring all contracts are accurately captured and recognized in accordance with GAAP.
- Lease Accounting (ASC 842): Maintain the lease portfolio, calculating Right‑of‑Use (ROU) assets and lease liabilities, ensuring all disclosures meet ASC 842 standards.
- Equity and Stock‑Base Comp: Lead the reconciliation of equity accounts and manage accounting for stock‑based compensation.
- Net Suite Reporting: Leverage Net Suite to build customized reports, automate workflows to streamline the close process.
- Financial Statements: Assist with financial disclosure and prepare external reporting requirements.
- Audit Preparation: Assist with PBC schedules and technical memos.
- Experience:
4+ years of progressive accounting experience (Public Accounting/Big 4 experience). - Technical Accounting Skill:
Comfortable applying and explaining standards to stakeholders. - Systems:
Proficiency in Net Suite; experience with equity management platforms (like Carta) is preferred. - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred. CPA license (active or in progress) is highly preferred.
- Competitive compensation – All‑In range of ($90,000–$120,000). (Please note that salary and compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, performance and location.)
