Senior Accountant-Level Contractor

Client is looking for a Senior Accountant-level contractor for our accounting team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in the full-cycle close process, including preparing and posting journal entries, completing account reconciliations, and performing analyses to ensure accuracy in our GL. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as FP&A, Tax, and Procurement. You will also support annual audits, internal reporting, and other compliance measures.

• Engage in full cycle general ledger financial close process and related activities to ensure completeness and accuracy in accordance with US GAAP (including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and flux and trend analyses).
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand inputs and assumptions that serve as the basis for our GL entries.
• Assist with annual/quarterly financial audits and selections​.

• 4+ years of accounting experience (within a SaaS technology business is a plus) including 15+ years experience in accounting.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP.
• Excellent verbal, analytical and written interactive skills, including collaboration with other teams.
• Experience using Net Suite (posting journal entries, running reports, etc).
• Experience performing BS reconciliations.
• Experience using Net Suite (posting journal entries, running reports, etc).
• GSuite and Excel skills (maintaining complex spreadsheets and employing complex formulas).
• Operational experience within GL function that covers accruals, flux analyses, audits is preferred.
• Experience with Flo Qast and Coupa.
