Staff Accountant

Description

Natalie Lue, Robert Half is recruiting for a Staff Accountant. Growing organization seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional with 3-5+ years of experience in financial reporting, GL review, month-end close, and P& L analysis. Backgrounds in food service, retail, hospitality, or other operationally focused environments are highly valued. Strong Excel skills, analytical abilities, and experience supporting budgets, forecasts, and client-facing financial reporting preferred.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or comparable hands-on experience in a related finance role.

- Three to five years of experience in financial reporting, general ledger review, and account reconciliation.

- Working knowledge of journal entries, operating statements, and month-end close processes.

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to use formulas and organize large data sets effectively.

- Experience supporting payroll processes or working with HR/payroll systems is highly valued.

- Ability to prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts with strong attention to detail.

- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
