Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and process improvement activities. In a mid-sized company, this role often works closely with accounting leadership to ensure accurate financial records, timely close processes, and compliance with internal controls. Experience with Net Suite is often valuable for managing transactions, reporting, and account analysis in a technology-enabled accounting environment.

• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Lead or support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Analyze general ledger activity and investigate variances or discrepancies.
• Prepare financial statements, schedules, and supporting reports for management and audits.
• Assist with internal controls, compliance, and process improvement initiatives.
• Support fixed assets, prepaids, intercompany activity, and other balance sheet accounting functions as needed.
• Use Net Suite to maintain financial records, run reports, reconcile accounts, and support accounting operations.
