- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience with product management, product strategy or product marketing.
- Experience in people management.
- 4 years of experience in people management.
- Experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
- Experience creating data sets, data modeling/reporting, and executive presentations with data visualization tools or AI.
- Experience with SQL.
- Ability to build narratives and utilize storytelling to distill technical product information for various audiences, ensuring clarity across concepts.
In this role, you will manage a team of Global Product Leads that provide scaled tooling support for the Google advertising business plus organization. Your team represents the critical business needs across internal business tools. You will understand the business intimately, drive business tool strategy and prioritization with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional (xfn) partners, and identify new productivity and business opportunities that tools can unlock.
With business acumen and strong technical empathy, you and your team work as a connecting tissue between Sales, Product, and Engineering to deliver a unified, trusted, and intelligent tooling suite to Google sales teams that supports driving profitable growth. The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy.
We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000-$267,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Oversee a team of Global Product Leads to deliver a unified, trusted, and intelligent tool experience to the frontline Sales and gTech users.
- Identify areas for process improvements or enhancements; be the expert of business operation, use the knowledge to devise the long-term tools goals, and influence Product Management and Engineering to a high-impact path.
- Identify and invest in partnerships to gain a holistic understanding of the Advertising (Ads) industry and Google business strategy and lead ahead of changing business goals.
- Devise narratives highlighting tooling benefits and collaborate with cross-functional partners to communicate value, driving change management, transparency, and roadmap alignment for users.
- Test the status quo, drive change management initiatives to identify growth opportunities, and improve organizational effectiveness, including process improvement, operational efficiency, and culture change.
