Senior Director, Head of Pharmaceutical Sales & Strategy Role Overview

As the Senior Director for Pharma, you will serve as the primary architect of our pharmaceutical growth engine. This is a triple-threat leadership role: you are a revenue generator & leader, a market-facing figurehead, and an internal strategist. Based on the East Coast, you will lead a specialized team of Account Directors (one AD to start with the ability to grow the team as revenue grows) while personally driving high-level partnerships and go-to-market strategies that cement our position as a leader in the health vertical.

Key Responsibilities 1. Direct Revenue Generation & Growth
  • Drive key account adoption: Personally own and aggressively grow a portfolio of Tier-1 pharmaceutical accounts. Lead the charge on "big fish" prospecting and closing.
  • Pipeline Mastery: Drive the full sales lifecycle-from initial outreach and high-level networking to final contract negotiation and upsell strategy.
  • Scale through Leadership: As the Pharma book grows, build and mentor a team of high-performing Account Directors. You will be measured by both your personal billings and the collective revenue of your regional team.
2. Industry Figurehead & Thought Leadership
  • Public Representation: Serve as the company's pharma spokesperson at industry events and participate in panels / keynote sessions.
  • Market Authority: Stay at the forefront of pharma regulations, privacy-safe targeting, and the evolving landscape.
3. Strategic Partnerships & Business Development
  • Data Ecosystem: Collaborate with our Business Development team to identify, negotiate, and sign mission-critical data partnerships.
  • Integration: Be a key stakeholder for relationships with IQVIA, Crossix, etc and other measurement/data providers to ensure our tech stack is optimized for pharma-specific attribution.
4. Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy
  • Marketing

    Collaboration:

    Work hand-in-hand with the Marketing team to craft a compelling pharma-specific narrative.
  • Product Feedback Loop: Provide direct market feedback to Product teams to develop features (like NPI targeting or script-lift measurement) that the pharma industry demands.

The compensation for this position ranges from $ - $/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.
