Skylo is looking for a Principal Product Manager to define the commercial future of our network. You will be responsible for actively hunting new market opportunities that our technology can unlock. You will sit at the intersection of Skylo’s engineering and the global market and translate technical enablers into viable, end-to-end products.
Remote – USThis role can be performed remotely with a preference for candidates located in Mountain View, CA, where we are onsite three days per week.
How You Will Contribute- You will look outward to the market to identify unmet customer needs and map them to Skylo’s emerging technical capabilities, packaging solved problems into sellable solutions.
- Go beyond established MNO use cases to identify and validate entirely new market verticals, taking ownership from concept through to the first commercial pilot.
- Define the long‑term architectural path for Skylo’s network, evaluating high‑stakes strategic trade‑offs and determining how they create unique value propositions for new customer segments.
- Translate commercial objectives into clear engineering problems, specifying success criteria for new services beyond connectivity, including SLAs, pricing models, and go‑to‑market packaging.
- Close the loop between technical feasibility and market appetite by continuously validating R&D concepts with customers, ensuring engineering resources are invested in capabilities with a clear revenue path.
- 15+ years of related experience across product management, wireless systems engineering, telco strategy, M(V)
NO/Telco ecosystem engagements (or 12+ years with a Master’s degree). - Track record of transforming technical capabilities into sellable products with clear customer value.
- Experience making complex architectural bets and articulating pros and cons of different network topologies and their impact on end‑user experience.
- Expert‑level knowledge of the M(V)
NO end‑to‑end stack, roaming interfaces, 3
GPP, NTN, D2D, and strategic product definition. - Ability to define key performance indicators (KPIs) for network services and use data to drive product requirements.

- Bay Area, CA: $230,000 – $240,000
