The Project Engineer supports the successful delivery of commercial and industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients, you'll coordinate documentation, field operations, and project communication while developing the skills needed for a successful career in project management.
Key Responsibilities- Manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation in Procore.
- Assist with project scheduling, procurement, permits, and coordination.
- Support field teams by coordinating inspections and tracking project progress.
- Maintain project documentation, drawings, logs, and closeout records.
- Assist with estimating, budgeting, and change management.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are met.
- Build strong relationships while upholding Milroy's values of integrity, innovation, and excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- 0–3 years of construction experience, including internships or co‑op experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast‑paced environment.

This role is designed to prepare high‑performing Project Engineers for advancement into an Assistant Project Manager role through increasing responsibility, hands‑on project experience, and mentorship from experienced project leaders.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $90,000–$130,000 annually
Compensation is based on experience, education, and overall qualifications.
