About Us
M. Designs Architects is an award-winning architecture, planning, and interior design firm based in Mountain View, California. We specialize in sustainable, residential design as well as small to medium commercial projects, ranging from remodels to new custom homes, townhouses, villas, estates, and office projects. We are seeking a Interior Designer who will represent the firm at a high level and work closely with the Principal, Interior Design leads and Architects.
This position requires leadership in design development, documentation, material selection, and coordination with consultants and clients.
- lead and oversee interior design concepts, development, and documentation
- produce and review interior and architectural details with minimal supervision
- manage and complete material and finish specifications
- take a key role in producing and coordinating working drawings in Revit
- direct communication with clients, consultants, and team members
- ensure quality control, consistency, and accuracy throughout project phases
- manage multiple high-priority tasks and deadlines concurrently
- provide mentorship to junior staff and contribute to team growth
- minimum three to six years’ of experience in interior design, including the design process and architectural/interior detailing
- degree in interior design or a related field. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- high attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Diligent, persistent, and capable of high follow-through
- ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines. High proficiency in Revit and ability to produce advanced working drawings
- experience with material/finish specification. Experience in 3D rendering tools, such as Lumion, 3ds Max or Enscape. Knowledge of Sketch Up, Photoshop and other adobe software. Experience coordinating with consultants
- must have a valid US work permit or citizenship
