Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of design with high creativity and expertise
- Initiate and develop detailed design concepts, functional requirements, and project-specific criteria
- Apply deep knowledge of the architectural process
- Lead interior design efforts and project teams
- Use strong graphic storytelling to pitch ideas
- Participate in marketing efforts and lead design presentations
- Prepare high-quality client presentation packages
- Review design documentation for accuracy, legibility, and compliance
- Lead team design reviews and brainstorming sessions
- Communicate effectively to motivate teams and mentor junior staff
- Keep clients, partners, and consultants aligned throughout the project lifecycle
- 12+ years of commercial interior design experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture from an accredited design school
- Advanced knowledge of all interior design phases of corporate projects
- Ability to participate in construction administration of projects
- Space planning, concept development, finish selection, and specification skills
- Conceptual sketching ability; experience with Photoshop, Sketch Up or Illustrator highly desirable
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Working knowledge and application of building codes
- CCIDC / NCIDQ Certification a plus
- Proficiency in Autodesk Building Design Suite/Revit
