We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Surgeon to join our El Camino Health Medical Network team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of surgical procedures, providing high-quality preoperative and postoperative care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent decision‑making skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

• Perform general surgical procedures.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with surgical conditions.
• Provide preoperative assessment, patient education, and postoperative follow-up care.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective surgical care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records, including operative notes and patient progress reports.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to treatment planning.
• Stay current with advances in surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and patient safety protocols.

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency program.
• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
• Valid medical license to practice in California.
• Strong clinical judgment, surgical skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
