- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end‑to‑end, 0 to 1, etc.).
- Master's degree in a technology or business‑related field.
- Experience with Ads ranking, bidding, or marketplace optimization for large‑scale markets.
- Experience leading technical teams to resolve issues in at‑scale machine learning and smart bidding products.
- Experience using SQL to perform data analysis and make informed product decisions.
- Experience in a business function role such as strategic marketing, business operations, or consulting.

You Tube Ads powers the You Tube ecosystem by keeping it free and engaging for users, rewarding creators, and connecting businesses to consumers worldwide. The You Tube Ads Marketplace Optimization team focuses on growing long‑term revenue by solving complex problems in automated bidding, machine learning, AI, and personalization. In this role, you will work on exciting machine learning and bidding problems that power advertisements across all You Tube surfaces, including In‑Stream, Shorts, Feeds, on mobile, TV, and desktop devices.
CompensationUS: $163,000 - $237,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
Key Responsibilities- Develop deep insights into advertiser and user behavior on You Tube to inform product strategy.
- Define and execute a comprehensive strategy for improving bidding algorithms and machine learning models.
- Optimize the You Tube Ads marketplace to drive long‑term advertiser value and revenue.
- Partner with engineering and data science teams to solve technical challenges in the prediction and bidding stack.
- Manage the product lifecycle from proof‑of‑concept to launch and advertiser adoption.
