The Education unit's mission is to enhance learning for work, school, and life. We aim to democratize learning, empowering individuals everywhere with the knowledge and skills to grow. The Learning Science team collaborates with Google product teams including Gemini, Search, You Tube, and Classroom to build high-quality educational products grounded in learning science principles that have a measurable impact. Learning is the ongoing quest for understanding, and we made it our mission more than 20 years ago to organize the world's information to make it universally accessible and useful.

The learning landscape is changing, and the Learning and Education team's mission is to help everyone in the world learn anything in the world. We provide the information, tools, and services that help people gain knowledge, fuel curiosity, and prepare for what's next. We focus our work to add the most value for users to enable learning for school, work, and life.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $141000 - $205000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Lead development of learning impact methodology for use of Google's education tools and features.
• Develop and implement evaluation frameworks to assess the quality of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tools.
• Conduct literature reviews and share results of foundational research on best practices for learning.
• Bring learning science as you consult with product development teams (including novel products) throughout the product development life cycle.
• Lead discussions and training sessions about learning science principles, the future of learning, and how GenAI can shape better outcomes for all learners.
