, we are seeking

We are looking for teachers to work in preschool or kindergarten groups with a maximum of 20 children. Candidates should demonstrate above-average commitment, flexibility, team spirit, creativity, a willingness to innovate, and initiative. Beyond their responsibilities within the group, our teachers actively contribute to school development, parent communication, external representation of the school, and the overall shaping of school life, including all activities that support the school’s programs.

With their pedagogical, communication, and organizational skills, they proactively and reliably support school leadership and the school’s various development initiatives.

Degree in early childhood education (B.A.), early childhood pedagogy (B.A.), or a state-recognized educator qualification, or 12 ECE credits (a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work does not qualify)

Minimum 2 years, ideally 5+ years of professional experience

Experience in a bilingual environment is a plus

Strong competencies in working with children aged 2 to 6

Experience with differentiated instruction to support each child’s individual development with knowledge, empathy, and sensitivity

Experience in language development is a plus

International experience is an advantage

Very good English language skills;
German is a plus

Above-average commitment and flexibility

Strong organizational skills

Commitment to the conceptual development and evaluation of educational processes in kindergarten and overall school development

Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and willingness to collaborate with colleagues, school leadership, parents, and the school board

Exemplary and thoughtful conduct, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability

Strong identification with and support for the mission and vision of GISSV
