Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience working in a silicon design and debug technical environment, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Experience in device bring‑up and triage.
- Experience in Python, C or other scripting languages, developing test infrastructure and creating test frameworks for system power or battery management.
- Experience with communication protocols such as I2C, SPMI, USB‑PD.
- Experience in deriving Design of Experiments (DOEs) and statistical analysis for categorizing and capturing improvement/regression.

US base salary range: $126,000–$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities- Execute characterization of battery fuel gauge performance and core functionality at both module and system levels.
- Develop validation strategies and plans, execute electrical/system‑level validation to catch and fix design issues through build cycles to improve overall product quality and meet the launch schedule.
- Develop integrated solutions to resolve the system‑level issues, such as Peak Power Management, Battery and Fuel Gauge, SoC throttling policies, and System on a Chip/Hardware (SoC/HW) stability issues in a form factor and low‑power device.
- Establish lab and factory test capabilities including test plan, automation, test fixture/station, failure analysis, yield tracking, test cycle optimization, etc.
- Drive validation/test solutions for adopting new technologies into Google products to improve test coverage/efficiency.
