TheOpportunity
We’re growing our in‑house design and development capabilities towards building products that offer greater comfort and utility for our users. As part of this distinguished engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work on health technology projects directly, lead innovation from concept to product, and grow your skills in a collaborative environment with electrical, mechanical, industrial, and materials science engineers.
This role requires creative problem‑solving, deep teamwork, and the desire to execute engineering projects with excellence.
- Test subject recruitment, informing subjects of experimental expectations, scheduling of test hardware deployments, measurement of objective and subjective metrics, including photography and surveys, biometric analysis of subjects wearing device under test, and generation of reports
- Ownership of comfort improvements for the current generation product and the future iterations of the products. Recommendations to the larger Hardware engineering team on design, materials, and implementation improvements to enhance comfort scores across metrics
- Support in‑house manufacturing of materials
- Scheduling production based on needs
- Coordination of shipping
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or related field. Or demonstrated industry experience working as a Technical Project Manager or engineer
- Demonstrated experience with project management software
- Design experience for human UI/UX interface, wearable sensors, personal audio, medical devices, robotics, etc.
- Hands‑on experience with quality assurance, design for manufacturability (DFM)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated experience working directly with customers or end‑users
- High attention to detail and willingness to gain new skills
- Must have the ability to work in the US without sponsorship
